Jimmy Jabbour criticizes Gebran's comments on Lebanon's military
The article discusses Jimmy Jbour's statements criticizing Deputy Samy Gemayel, considering his remarks as encouraging the spread of poison against the Lebanese military institution, which the institution itself views as the only stable entity in the country. It clarifies that Gemayel's comments could lead to the Lebanese army being subjected to U.S. sanctions and weaken its role, potentially worsening the national crisis and threatening military stability. Jbour also pointed out that government policies and external pressures, particularly from the U.S. and Israel, contribute to marginalizing the military institution and undermining its capabilities.
