Qleiyat Airport operates as scheduled, with extra equipment outside contract
The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation clarified that the operation of Qulayat Airport will proceed according to the established schedule. The additional works and equipment required have not been included in the main operating contract or the investor’s obligations. The essential works necessary to initiate operations with the minimum requirements are being carried out, while the additional works are based on security agency requests to enhance readiness. These can be implemented concurrently with the airport's operation and do not affect the commencement date.
