Agriculture Minister thanks Aoun and Saadé for apple harvest support
Minister of Agriculture Nizar Hani expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic for his support of the agricultural sector. He considered that supporting the export of Lebanese apples requires sustainable measures, including reducing shipping costs and expanding foreign markets. He emphasized that the initiative to allocate one million dollars from the CMA CGM group will help alleviate logistical burdens and strengthen the competitiveness of Lebanese apples in Arab markets, as part of the Ministry of Agriculture's plan to export 100,000 tons of apples in the 2026 season, aimed at protecting farmers and boosting the national economy.
