Martyrdom of released prisoner Magdy Al-Ayoubi in Gaza attack
The released prisoner Magdi Al-Ayoubi has died as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle near the Jordanian Hospital in Gaza. He had endured a long period of detention and torture, losing his family during the war. Al-Ayoubi was detained during the incursion of Israeli forces into the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and faced severe torture, in addition to the killing of his mother and pregnant wife in a previous strike that targeted their home, resulting in their martyrdom and the death of their unborn child. After being released from prison, he returned to Gaza only to be killed in an Israeli bombing, part of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire. These strikes have resulted in the death of six Palestinians and injuries to others, amid persistent Israeli violations since the agreement was signed in October 2025.
