Trump Potentially Considering Iran Strike Before Elections
A report from The New York Times reveals that the U.S. military is preparing plans for intensive military strikes on Iran that would last three days. These strikes would target missile and drone arsenals, energy facilities, and military sites. Such options are under consideration for potential implementation, despite President Trump’s hesitation in making a decision about the attack before the November Congressional elections. The plans include a brief and intense operation involving the deployment of three aircraft carriers to the region for the first time since 2003, with the expectation that these actions are intended to prepare for any change in his stance and to increase pressure on Iran amid stalled nuclear negotiations.
