North Korean prisoners cause unrest Seoul's envoy back from Ukraine
The South Korean ambassador to Ukraine has returned to his home country after the government recalled him due to a diplomatic dispute arising from Ukraine's disclosure of the handing over of two North Korean soldiers captured during fighting with Russia. Seoul considered this a violation of the secret agreements in place. These developments come amid tensions over shipments of South Korean products to Russia, further escalating the strained relations between the two countries. The South Korean side demanded a formal apology and expressed concern for the safety of the prisoners of war and their families.
