Iraqi Official Criticizes Netanyahu
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi criticizes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of being a "bankrupt gambler" seeking to save himself from legal prosecution at the expense of American lives and funds. He describes him as a "wanted war criminal" by justice. Araqchi also expresses his belief that Netanyahu is sacrificing American lives in a desperate attempt to escape justice, and affirms that some U.S. Senators are seeking to exit internal political crises. These statements come amid escalating tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv, with rising regional hostilities and disagreements over the future of the war and its political and military repercussions.
