Southern town issues urgent cold warning
The Municipality of Kfarra in the Bint Jbeil District appealed to officials to support the families residing in the town with fuel oil before the start of the harsh winter. The residents are suffering from continuous shelling, the destruction of their homes, a lack of job opportunities, and the difficulty of obtaining firewood permits due to complicated laws and procedures. It has been emphasized that 200 liters of fuel oil represent warmth for a child, dignity for an elderly person, and resilience for a family. The situation imposes increased hardship on the residents, who are already facing high costs and lengthy procedures to secure heating.
