Trump's envoys cancel Moscow visit
The United States has reached a temporary halt in the trips of Trump envoys, Tetkov and Kushner, to Moscow, pending clarity on Ukraine and European countries' readiness to approve a unified Russian proposal for a ceasefire. Statements indicate that the potential agreement includes a halt to attacks on oil refineries in Ukraine and Russia, with possibilities of expanding the deal to include stopping targeting energy networks. However, Russia has not yet given official approval, while Ukraine continues to demand an end to attacks on electricity plants. These developments come amid a Russian escalation with attacks on Ukrainian energy stations, while the White House focuses on maintaining American support relationships between Kyiv and Moscow.
