Security forces respond to Bourj Hammoud killing
The Internal Security Forces in Lebanon managed to arrest a young Syrian man born in 2005, after he was accused of assaulting an elderly Lebanese woman and stealing from her before her death at the hospital. Investigations revealed that the suspect was monitoring the victim’s house and claimed he entered with the intent to steal, pushing her, which caused her to lose consciousness, leading to the theft of jewelry and a wristwatch. The detainee admitted to planning the theft, and during a search of his house, the stolen items were found and recovered. He has been referred to the judiciary to take the necessary legal measures.
