Iran and US exchange messages via intermediaries
The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that communication between the United States and Iran is conducted through intermediaries, in an attempt to reduce tensions between the two countries. Iran also condemned the American escalation in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that Washington is reaching out to Russia regarding energy issues despite claiming there are no problems in the strait. In a different context, a citizen in the town of Ain Ebel was killed as a result of an explosion caused by a suspicious object from the remnants of the Israeli aggression. Israeli warplanes launched strikes on the areas of Wadi Al-Hijr and Kfartbinnet. In Lebanon, a murderer motivated by theft was detained in the Doura area, while security forces continue to confront ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory since the beginning of October 2026.
