Customs Contain Smuggled Supplements in Chiyah
The Lebanese General Directorate of Customs succeeded in raiding a stash in the Shiyah area and seized large quantities of smuggled dietary supplements and vitamins that lacked the necessary permits from the Ministry of Health. Customs continues its efforts to pursue trafficking of illicit medicines and food products aimed at protecting public health and reducing the circulation of illegal goods in the market. They also called on citizens to be cautious when purchasing these products from unverified sources and to report any places suspected of containing smuggled goods, especially inside residential apartments and unusual locations, in order to help combat smuggling operations and protect health and the national economy.
