Britain supports 10 African clean energy projects
Britain has launched a program to fund clean energy projects in Africa, with a value exceeding two million UK pounds, aimed at enhancing energy security and developing essential services in eight countries. The projects include installing solar-powered cooling and storage systems, establishing agricultural centers, transitioning hospitals and healthcare facilities from relying on diesel generators to solar energy, as well as developing advanced battery systems and supporting rural electricity grids. The funding seeks to expand clean energy systems to improve daily services and commercial activities, with a focus on upgrading electrical infrastructure in unstable regions and maximizing the benefits of sustainable battery technology.
