Washington and London warn Iran allies
The United States, Britain, and their allies condemned the attacks they have faced at the hands of Iran, reaffirming their determination to take action against any entity acting on behalf of Tehran. A joint statement indicated that Iran's efforts to threaten, harass, or coerce individuals within their territories—whether through its proxies or by other means—are unacceptable. This comes after Britain accused Iran of involvement in a plot targeting a base at Fairford Air Force Base, with London summoning the Iranian ambassador and placing two Iranian nationals on sanctions lists following a mysterious incident that occurred on September 27. In response, the United States withdrew its B-1 bombers from the base after the incident.
