Sheikh Damoush criticizes authorities' failure to heal wounds
The news discusses Sheikh Damoush's statements regarding the lack of tangible measures from the authorities thus far to heal the wounds of the people. He emphasized that the responsibility for reconstruction and sheltering the displaced should fall on the state, not politics. He confirmed that the program primarily includes providing shelter for those whose homes have been partially or fully destroyed, as well as offering options for renting homes and purchasing furniture. He stressed that reconstruction is a national and moral responsibility that must be carried out without political calculations. He also pointed out objections from some official institutions to blocking aid from reaching those affected and displaced, affirming that resisting occupation and defending the rights of the people remain top priorities.
