Mughairani: Border closure rumors unfounded
Iranian government spokesperson Fatima MHajerani confirmed that reports of closing the country's land borders are merely rumors and speculations. She stated that the government is prepared to face the worst possible scenarios, including sanctions and blockades targeting Iran and its people’s lives. She clarified that potential restrictions such as canceling flights and imposing sanctions on rail lines reflect Iran’s ongoing stance to protect its interests, without revealing details of strategic measures due to wartime conditions. She also emphasized Iran's efforts to maintain internet stability and avoid cyberattacks, and highlighted that Iran is taking the issue of Iranian pilots in Qatar seriously, working collaboratively with Qatari authorities to resolve the matter quickly. Additionally, she pointed out that the United States continues to oppose Iranian civilization, one of the greatest in the world, and asserts that the U.S. will not succeed in erasing it.
