Nuremberg Airport Shut as Jets Escort Flight
Security interventions at Nuremberg Airport took place following reports of unidentified flying objects detected in the vicinity of the airport, leading to extensive search operations and the activation of emergency protocols. No drones or sources of the objects have been identified so far. At the same time, German security forces also escorted a passenger plane coming from Greece with Eurofighter fighters before its landing, after an emergency-related code was issued, despite the aircraft successfully landing safely. Investigations continue to clarify the connection between the two incidents, with the reasons behind the reports and security events in the area remaining unclear.
