The Head of Economic Sectors, former Minister Mohamed Choucair, welcomed a delegation from the "Irada" Association led by Louay Malas at the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce. The meeting focused on discussing Lebanon's economic and financial conditions and the necessary measures to enhance the resilience of the private sector in face of current challenges. Choucair emphasized that economic activity has halted due to rising fuel prices, declining demand, decreasing exports, and the repercussions of regional conflicts. He highlighted the urgent need to approve swift measures to support institutions and ensure their continuity. The delegation also stressed the importance of strengthening solidarity among private sector components and standing in support of economic sectors. Minister Choucair was invited to attend the "Irada Expo 2026," scheduled to be held on October 31, 2026.
