PM addresses Shaba situation and border support
The Prime Minister, Nohad Machnouk, discussed the situation in Shab'a during a meeting at the Grand Serail. He emphasized the state's and its institutions' support for the town, especially given the difficult economic conditions. The delegation, which included local officials, called for support to sustain the resilience of the residents of Shab'a, with a focus on providing essential fuel for heating due to rising prices and families' financial difficulties, particularly since Shab'a is situated at an elevation of over 1,400 meters above sea level. The Prime Minister promised to address these needs to strengthen the community's resilience, with an emphasis on implementing developmental projects to support the region, especially amid ongoing challenges. This visit comes as part of the government's effort to support the town, which has endured despite the hard circumstances, and aims to improve the lives of its residents and find solutions to their core issues.
