Gulf Oil stays despite Trump’s removal
Kimberly Goulfuille, the American ambassador to Greece, faces allegations and reports concerning financial conduct, possibly illegal, during her tenure, which led to a request for her dismissal by the Trump administration. Goulfuille openly refused to resign, affirming that the claims against her are unfounded and that she will strongly defend her reputation and professional integrity. The crisis began after allegations emerged regarding her financial dealings with Greek businessmen, along with leaked transcripts suggesting she requested large sums of money before the Senate vote on her appointment. Goulfuille is considered a close associate of Trump and has played a central role in his election campaigns since 2019. However, investigations and reports have sparked controversy over her integrity and financial situation, amid a cloud of uncertainty within the U.S. administration regarding her professional future.
