Israeli shelling targets Kafr Tbenit and Wadi al-Hijr
Lebanon's southern region experienced a significant escalation in military activity, as Israel carried out a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling across various areas. These included the town of Kfartbennyet, Wadi al-Hajar, and the area of Al-Areesh, in addition to searches and burning of homes in the city of Al-Khiyam. This came after a prior warning from the occupying army to the residents of Northern Galilee about an imminent wave of attacks in the coming hours, in response to the ongoing escalation along the border. The operations resulted in the destruction and burning of homes, amid international warnings of further escalation and rejection of Israeli policies.
