Public Security Extends Foreigners' Status Deadline
The Lebanese Public Security Directorate has decided to extend the deadline for regularizing the status of foreigners who are in violation of the residence law, including Syrian workers, until January 29, 2027. This decision aims to provide an additional grace period for undocumented residents to rectify their status, after which stricter measures will be enforced against violators. It also emphasizes the importance of contacting the call center and official platforms to stay informed about the details of the procedures.
