Coalition targets Houthi sites in Taiz
Yemen has witnessed an escalation in military activities in Taiz, with ongoing clashes between government forces and the Houthis. Yemeni forces carried out airstrikes on Houthi positions in the Al-Dabab area west of Taiz. Additionally, the coalition supporting the legitimacy announced the interception and destruction of three drones, a ballistic missile, and two cruise missiles over the Red Sea off Saudi Arabia, amid ongoing missile and drone attacks on Saudi regions. The fronts in Taiz are considered strategic areas that allow control over large parts of the region. At the same time, government forces took control of Al-Majzar district north of Marib, while the Houthis downed a reconnaissance drone. An attack by the Houthis on Aden resulted in the death of five people and injuries to 16 others. It serves as a reminder that the Houthis continue to target civilian and governmental facilities in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
