Reconstruction Workshops from Sur to Hasbaya
The article discusses the efforts of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in Lebanon to rehabilitate and restore roads and infrastructure in the southern regions affected by war and Israeli attacks. This is part of a broad plan that includes several districts such as Tyre, Marjaayoun, Hasbaya, and Sidon. The work involves paving roads, repairing damages, constructing temporary crossings, and rehabilitating facilities, all aimed at improving transportation, connecting these areas to essential services, and facilitating residents' movement—especially in border zones and conflict-affected areas. Coordinations are also underway with relevant authorities to reopen the Litani River crossing after the destruction of a bridge in Tairfalsa, alongside the development of sustainable projects to enhance road safety and ease access to schools and services. These initiatives seek to improve living conditions for local residents and ensure the continuity of movement in the affected regions.
