Zelensky suggests G20 talks with Russia and US
The article discusses the possibility of a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia during the G20 summit scheduled for December in either the United States or the Middle East. The aim would be to explore avenues of understanding among the parties amid escalating tensions and disagreements between Kyiv and Washington, especially following the easing of U.S. sanctions on Russia and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicated the potential for such a meeting but has not yet received confirmation from Russia or the United States. Recently, relations between Kyiv and Washington have deteriorated due to American actions that led to the easing of sanctions on Moscow, raising concerns about the aspirations and balances of the ongoing conflict.
