Iran says US response on Strait opening is insufficient
The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the American response to its proposal to open the Strait of Hormuz within seven days was insufficient and not serious, reflecting the United States' lack of genuine intent in dealing with the initiative. It pointed out that Iran's proposal aims to ensure maritime security in the region and halt escalation, and that Iran will continue its efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz.
