British Typhoon jets assist Saudi Arabia against Houthis
The British Ministry of Defence announced that Typhoon fighter jets belonging to the Royal Air Force will participate in supporting Saudi Arabia against Houthi attacks, carrying out defensive missions to protect Saudi airspace, including defending cities and infrastructure. This step comes amid escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi territory, particularly targeting Riyadh Airport, and emphasizes that the aircraft will not conduct offensive strikes against the Houthis. Additionally, Britain will provide an Atlas A400M transport aircraft for heavy cargo transport within Saudi Arabia.
