Tampa talks start, army rejects Israeli claims
The events revolve around an escalating military and political crisis in Lebanon connected to the conflict between Israel, Iran, and Hezbollah. Israel continues to target the Lebanese army, accusing it of failing to control Hezbollah's military infrastructure in the south despite agreements reached in 2024. On the other hand, the Lebanese army affirms its commitment to fulfilling its duties despite the challenges and calls for Arab and international support to ensure regional stability. Meanwhile, investigations into Hezbollah's explosive materials are ongoing, with arrest warrants issued for some officials. Additionally, the Constitutional Council invalidated part of the banking reform law, in the context of Lebanon’s internal and political situation.
