Saudi Arabia reports five drones shot down
Saudi Arabian air defense systems successfully intercepted five drones in recent hours. Four of these drones were heading toward Saudi territory and were destroyed, while a fifth was intercepted in the Eastern Province, with no determination yet made regarding who launched it. This comes amid escalating Houthi attacks supported by Iran on the kingdom, including direct assaults on Riyadh Airport that resulted in casualties and injuries. Among these was the October attack, which claimed 13 lives and injured hundreds, marking one of the most severe strikes in recent years.
