Trump: Hubbard Returning Without Russia Exchange
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that American Steven Habrard, who was captured by Russian forces in Ukraine a year ago, is on his way back to the United States. He stated that a prisoner exchange with Russia did not take place, as no concessions were made in exchange for his release. Trump also added that Habrard will soon be reunited with his family, clarifying that Washington did not have to offer anything in return for his freedom—an unprecedented situation for Russia.
