Zakharova warns Tokyo on Ukraine marches
Russia warned of a harsh response to Japan if it transfers drones to Ukraine, clarifying that Moscow has the necessary resources to carry out such an action. This came after a Japanese company revealed the shipment of drones to Kyiv for use in combat operations, which Moscow considers an provocative and hostile act, as well as an encouragement of military relations with Kyiv despite Russia’s repeated warnings. Moscow also criticized Tokyo's policy of not placing obstacles to military cooperation with Ukraine, threatening that any weapons posing a threat to Russian security would be considered legitimate targets for the Russian army.
