Justice Council probes Shiite duo Nassar expands investigation
The article discusses the Lebanese Ministry of Justice's request, during a government session, to refer the explosive shipment found on the Dahr El Badr road, in the possession of two Hezbollah members, to the Supreme Council (Al-Majlis Al-Adli). Justice Minister Adel Nassar confirmed that ongoing investigations are expanding without limits, and that the referral is made because the case pertains to a breach of national security, requiring an independent judicial decision. It is worth noting that there are differences in political stances, with some seeking to delay or oppose the decision, while the judiciary continues its investigations independently and transparently, amid warnings about the political and security implications for the country’s stability.
