Minister Qulub and other ministers
The news of the appointment of Minister Qoloub Fatih, a native of Asilah, as the first woman from the city to hold a ministerial position since Morocco's independence in 1956, has garnered the attention of the local community and cultural circles in Asilah. This appointment came in the context of the conclusion of the 47th edition of the International Cultural Season of Asilah, which continued successfully despite the absence of its founder, the late Mohamed Bennis, and coincided with the formation of a new government. Minister Qoloub is considered one of the active members of the city in civil society work and has previously held positions related to culture, parliamentary relations, and civil society. This appointment is a source of pride for Asilah and a reaffirmation of the active participation of women in government work in Morocco.
