Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei met with senior commanders of Iran’s armed forces and called for heightened combat readiness and an immediate, effective response to any threat, without geographical limits. He also called for strengthening intelligence and independent defense capabilities and updating the target bank. He said that Iran’s armed forces and people would determine the timing and terms for ending any new military or terrorist attacks, and praised public support and the resilience of the Resistance Front. The commanders briefed him on readiness along the Gulf coast, around the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, and along the borders, as well as on increased production of munitions and weapons.
