Iranian official media reported that the body of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has arrived at the Imam Khomeini Prayer Hall in Tehran in preparation for a large funeral procession that will last for six days. The ceremonies will include regions inside and outside Iran, with an expected participation of between 15 and 20 million mourners. The events will involve the closure of offices and the imposition of traffic and air restrictions. Concurrently, preparations are underway to transfer the body to Iraq before it is buried in Mashhad. An Iranian official commented on the absence of his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, citing security reasons due to Israeli threats. Meanwhile, regional tensions between Iran, Washington, and Israel continue to escalate.
