Fez gang trial starts with fingerprint evidence
The Basic Criminal Chamber of the Fès Court of Appeal has decided to postpone the trial of five individuals belonging to a criminal gang specialized in armed robberies involving violence and knives. The trial has been rescheduled for July 9 to summon the victims. The defendants face charges related to forming a criminal gang, aggravated theft, the violent use of weapons, assault and battery, and concealment of stolen property from a felony or misdemeanor. They were arrested following a security operation, after police fingerprinting and investigations revealed that they were carrying out thefts in various areas of Fès, sometimes using masks to conceal their identities.
