Marrakech hosts second disaster management conference
The second International Disaster Management Conference under the title "From Crisis to Capacity" has kicked off in Marrakesh. The event focuses on strengthening community capabilities to anticipate, adapt, and recover from crises. The conference aims to turn moments of crisis into opportunities for building comprehensive resilience. It also highlights Morocco's strategic geographic position that promotes South-South cooperation and the exchange of expertise with Africa and the international community. Emphasizing that disaster management is no longer limited to rapid response, it now includes the ability to adapt and rebuild structures after crises.
