Nador suspect detained in mugging case
Security authorities in Nador have succeeded in apprehending a suspect in a "pickpocketing" incident on Avenue Youth, following the circulation of a video documenting the assault using pepper spray and the suspects fleeing on a motorcycle. The investigations, carried out in coordination between the criminal police and the National Gang Prevention Unit, led to the identification and arrest of one of the suspects early in the morning at a house in Ain Diab neighborhood. A motorcycle linked to the assault was found in the Trqaa area. Efforts are ongoing to capture the second suspect in order to uncover all the details of the attack. Legal procedures continue under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
