Marrakech will host the 23rd edition of its International Film Festival from November 20 to 28, featuring 76 films from 39 countries, including 10 world premieres. Twelve films have received support from the Atlas Workshops, while 11 are representing their countries in the race for the Oscars. Marion Cotillard will chair the official competition jury, which will choose the winner of the Golden Star from among 14 films—the first or second features by their directors. The festival will open with *Mona*, directed by Jesse Eisenberg. The programme includes sections devoted to Arab and Moroccan cinema, including “Horizons,” with 21 films, and “The Eleventh Continent,” with 13, alongside a Moroccan Panorama featuring six films.
