Wassim Amsoud, a correspondent for Morocco’s Al Aoula television channel in the provinces of Nador, Driouch and Al Hoceima, stands out as a young media professional who has brought the region’s issues to national television through on-the-ground reporting focused on residents’ concerns and on social, development and sports matters. He grew up in Nador and studied photography and audiovisual media after his interests shifted from information technology to production. He later joined Al Aoula after passing its recruitment exam. He takes a particular interest in youth initiatives and talent, and has also conveyed sports groups’ calls for a modern stadium to be built in Nador.
