Cardia Seville uncovers 17th-century oil paintings

Two 17th-century oil paintings by a Spanish artist named Lucas Baldés have been discovered and recovered. The two paintings had been kept at the Spíritus de los Sacerdotes in Seville and had been missing for nearly a century, having been stolen in 1929 during an exhibition in Seville, after which they were never recovered. Following investigations, experts confirmed their authenticity, and they were officially returned to the church in Seville at a formal ceremony.
