Rabat Court Denies Zian's Release
The Court of Appeal Criminal Chamber in Rabat rejected the request for temporary release submitted by the defense team of Nabil Mohamed Zyan, after issuing a decision of non-acceptance. It continued to uphold the previous ruling sentencing him to five years in prison. A primary judgment had been issued by the Rabat Court of Appeal on May 8, 2025, sentencing Zyan to three years in prison, following the annulment of the previous verdict by the Court of Cassation and the remand of the case back to the court for a new trial.
