Moroccan Justice and Development Party and Democratic Challenges
The article discusses the Justice and Development Party, considering it the most practiced in internal democracy compared to other Moroccan parties, despite its negative criticisms. It clarifies that the party is characterized by a clear internal organization and relative transparency in selecting its candidates, giving it an advantage over other parties that are marked by favoritism and ongoing control by their leaders over key positions. However, the article points out that this democratic practice within the party does not serve the public interest or promote the stability of the political system. It calls for unity and oversight to prevent the repetition of the party's behaviors, so as to keep it from deviating from genuine democratic standards.
