Oil Spill Party demands Indian Education Minister resignation
Hundreds of students and young people took to the streets in a march in New Delhi, organized by the "People's Party of Sharaq al-Zayt," to protest against the scandals of leaking national exam questions and the declining quality of electronic grading, which led to the cancellation of entrance exams for medical colleges. The protesters held aloft a banner with the slogan "Oil Thieves" and wore masks expressing anger over corruption, voicing their rejection of the unfairness in the exam system that threatens the futures of youth. The movement, which originated on social media, has attracted over 22 million followers amid growing frustration over rising unemployment rates despite economic growth.
