Mosquito Control Campaigns in Tangier
The Tangier-Tetouan-Hoceima authorities launched field campaigns to combat mosquitoes in the Azzenaya district, in response to citizens' complaints about the proliferation of insects near waterways and valleys. Spraying and treatment operations were carried out at multiple sites on June 6th and 7th, 2026, aimed at reducing mosquito breeding, especially during periods of high temperatures. The program will continue in the coming period to monitor and treat areas that serve as breeding hotspots.
