Spanish probe ties Cannabis Messi to smuggling tunnel
A Spanish investigation has revealed a connection between Abdullah Al-Hajj Al-Sadiq, known as "Hashish Messi," and a drug smuggling network operating through underground tunnels between Morocco and Ceuta. It is suspected that underground tunnels are being used to transport large quantities of hashish into Spanish territory. The investigation focuses on several tunnels discovered in Spanish-controlled Ceuta, which are used to store and direct drugs to European cities, with plans underway to expand an additional tunnel to enhance smuggling operations. Spanish authorities are still investigating the case, while Al-Hajj Al-Sadiq remains one of the prominent figures within the drug trafficking networks in the Strait of Gibraltar area.
