Lagague discusses African Cup final details
Fouzi Lekjaâ, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, revealed that the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal witnessed exciting events. He pointed out that the Senegalese team did not complain about the organization or the stadium conditions while in Morocco. He also mentioned that after Senegal qualified for the final, changes took place, including their increased responsiveness to accommodation requirements and training facilities, which was unprecedented. Additionally, he affirmed that the referee's decisions regarding the two Moroccan penalties were correct, and he praised the Moroccan fans for their wise conduct during the events. He emphasized that the accusations of cheating against Morocco are inconsistent with the team's journey to the final. Currently, Morocco is awaiting the final decision from the International Court of Arbitration regarding the team's crowning as champion.
