Pregnant woman, 19, accused of stealing jewelry
A 19-year-old maid was on trial for stealing jewelry belonging to the popular artist Shima'a El-Shawaneya. Her defense stated that the main culprit, who is still at large, exploited a romantic relationship with her to persuade her to participate in the theft, knowing the location of the jewelry. The court sentenced the maid to eight years in prison, while authorities continue searching for the fugitive defendant to take legal action against him.
