Marrakech Faculty Dean Dismissed Over Inappropriate Recordings
Ahmed Qadim, Dean of the College of Arabic Language at the University of Al-Qadi Ayyad in Marrakesh, issued a statement explaining the details of his dismissal from the Ministry of Higher Education following the circulation of audio recordings related to erotic sexual conversations allegedly involving him with a female student. He confirmed that his communication with the lady began in 2008 with the aim of helping her complete her studies, and that he did not have any direct meetings with her. He clarified that the recordings had been kept for many years before being publicly released, and considered that the issue is linked to internal conflicts and accusations of misconduct, affirming his readiness to cooperate with an investigation.
