Morocco warned of heatwave and strong winds
The General Directorate of Meteorology has warned Moroccans of an upcoming heatwave and strong winds, advising preventive precautions, especially during peak heat periods, such as avoiding direct sunlight and drinking plenty of water. The weather forecast predicts that relatively hot to very hot conditions will continue in the southern and southeastern regions, with low clouds and fog forming near the coasts, along with strong gusts of wind that could impair visibility and cause dust storms. The forecast also cautions about the risks of thunderstorms and advises staying away from valleys and slopes. It emphasizes the importance of exercising caution while driving to ensure safety.
